About our team
Nathan Buchanan
Sunrise Electrical LLC’s owner is a local tradesman, native to the south Asheville area. Nathan is a father of 3 and his family has lived in Candler for the last 10 years. He is motivated by the wish to be an affordable electrical contractor that works within his community offering high quality service. He also hopes to establish a business reputation that will be long-standing and that he can pass on to his children in the future. Before his electrical career Nathan worked with a general contractor in a variety of construction capacities, however it is the electrical work that intrigued him most. He has now worked in the electrical field for 8 years, and started Sunrise in June of 2023. He has worked on a wide range of electrical projects including commercial, industrial and residential.
Rocky Peebles
Sunrise counts on their reliable and knowledgeable team to help work get completed efficiently. Rocky is one of our go-to guys. He is local to the Cherokee area and has been working in the electrical field ever since he graduated from high school. All 3 years of his experience has been under Nathan’s guidance. When Nathan started Sunrise Electrical. Rocky chose to spend his time continuing to learn from Nathan by working with Sunrise Electrical. He boasts that this has been a great experience for him and has prepared him for his own licensure endeavor which is currently underway. In his own words, “The owner, Nathan Buchanan, is a very great man and a person who I look up to. I’ve known him for almost 4 years and admire his dedication to his family and customers. I can say with certainty that he puts all of his effort into getting work done in a correctly, safely, and visually appealing manner.” Rocky is a valuable part of the Sunrise team and we are proud to have him.
